Based just up the road from John Craddock HQ in Stafford; the team at Turtleshell have been designing and making Defender protection parts since 2010. They precision cut and finish lightweight industrial grade 3mm 5251 aluminium. The end result is achieved by CAD design and laser cutting to give incredibly accurate edges, curves and styling. It is then finished in a matt black Valspar powder coating.

You can be confident of the strength and reliability of this particular aluminium alloy. It is used for aircraft parts, silos, boats and marine structures. 5251 aluminium is known for having a high corrosion resistance, which is why it is popular in marine settings. So some rain, mud and snow will be no problem!
Valspar powder is familiar to architects who need an abrasion resistant surface finish for modern buildings. This coating adds an extra layer of durability to this brand of Land Rover protection.
