A sleek, premium product, the steering guard comes with stainless steel fittings as standard for a secure fit. Furthermore, ORE’s special multiple pre-treatment process is exactly the same as that used for tank armour. That interesting fact in itself gives you a pretty good idea of how resilient this product is on almost any terrain.
The powder coating process used to make it is also unique to ORE. It has been tested to withstand 1000 hours of salt spray under lab conditions. And, with the addition of special additives used in ORE’s coating (the same used in architectural building fabrics), the steering guard won’t fade after exposure to UV light.
If the steering guard takes impact, the coating will not peel off either. This is due to multiple pre-treatments and thickness of the coating. Furthermore. If the coating does get chipped the special pre-treatments prevent bubbling and stops moisture from migrating and widening the chip or scratch.
Finally, the ORE Heavy Duty Steering Guard comes with a 5-year warranty (subject to product specific terms), giving you the confidence that the underside of your pride and joy is thoroughly protected and, should anything go wrong, it can quickly be resolved.
