Choosing Your 4×4 Tyres
There are many factors to consider when looking at 4×4 tyres for your Land Rover.
Terrain
Getting the right type of tyre for the terrain you intend to drive on is paramount for performance and safety. Whether you are travelling over mud, snow, sand, and rocks or doing a lot of mileage on the road, you will have to select the right tyre bias. It is best to be honest about this; a super chunky off road tyre may look great on your vehicle, but isn’t going to give you the performance you need if you mainly drive on the road. Likewise, if your Land Rover comes out at the weekend, and you are more serious about driving off the beaten track, then a more road biased tyre will not give you the traction and clearance you need.
